Tian Pao Kong was originally an estate "temple" and officially moved to its current location in 2008.

When Jigong was born, the Seventeenth Arhat (Arhat Descending the Dragon) in the Arhat Hall of Guoqing Temple suddenly fell down, so people said that Jigong was the reincarnation of arhat.
济公诞生时正好碰上国清寺罗汉堂里的第十七尊罗汉(降龙罗汉)突然倾倒,于是人们便把济公说成是罗汉投胎。
