Thank god it is a faint red line at “T”.

谢天谢地，”T”处只显示一条微弱的红线。

One more day and I am out of self-isolation.

再过一天，我就摆脱自我隔离了。

I do not know if I lied to myself or it is true, the red line at “T” seems to be lighter!

不知是骗自己还是真的，检测仪的”T”线的红色好像有比较浅了！

第4天冠病抗原快速检测呈阳性。

Except for the cough, everything is fine.

From Tuesday till today 72 hours, my Antigen Rapid Test is still positive!

从星期二至今天72小时，我的抗原快速检测还是呈阳性！

Other than cough, I am feeling perfectly well.

除了咳嗽，我不觉得有任何异样。

According to Protocol 2 of the Ministry of Health, I must self-isolate for 7 days if my 72 hours Antigen Rapid Test is positive,

根据卫生部冠病医疗方案2，如果我的72小时抗原快速检测呈阳性，我就必须自我隔离7天。

Coexistence With COVID-19 与冠病共存

Seen a doctor yesterday and confirmed that I have COVID.

昨天看了医生证实我得了冠病。

Yesterday Singapore saw a record high of 26,032 COVID-19 cases.

昨天新加坡新增2万6千32起确诊病例。

Fortunately, I only had mild fever, cough, soar throat and bod aches; I did not need to be hospitalized, I just needed to recover at home.

所幸我只是轻微的发烧、咳嗽、喉咙痛和全身疼痛；不必劳师动众的住院，只需在家修养便可。

Never thought that I would be a COVID-19 patient,

从没想过自己会成为冠病患者。

Luckily, I had my booster jab and now I can recover at home safely.

幸运的是之前也打了追加剂，现在才能安然无恙在家修养。

Even now that everyone has to accept coexistence with COVID-19, but the premise is to protect our family members and the general public from the virus.

即便是现在大家需接受与冠病共存，但前提是保护好家人及普罗大众免受病毒的侵害。

Get vaccinated or booster jab as soon as possible, remember to wash hands frequently and wear mask; as long as everyone works together, we will definitely be able to defeat the virus.

尽快接种疫苗或打追加剂，记得勤洗手、带好口罩；只要大家同心协力，一定能战胜病毒。

Palindrome Ambigram 回文 歧义图

Today is a very special day.

今天是个非常特别的日子。

Today is both a palindrome and an ambigram day.

今天既是回文日也是歧义图日。

Readers of my previous blog “Palindrome”, will know what it means.

读过我之前写的部落格《回文》的读者会知道它的含义。

Twos-day 22 February 2022 will read the same from left to right, from right to left.

“二”天2022年2月22日，从左到右，从右到左都是一样的。

What is more special is that today’s date is the same even when is upside down.

更特别的是今天的日期即使把它倒置也是一样的。

Positive? Negative? 阳性？阴性？

Cough, soar throat, feverish, runny nose and body ache.

咳嗽、喉咙痛、发烧、流鼻涕和身体疼痛。

These are all symptoms of COVID-19.

这些都是感染冠病的症状。

At first my Antigen Rapid Test kit showed “C”, indicating negative; then it showed a fade line at “T” indicating positive.

起初，我的抗原快速检测仪显示”C”，表示阴性；然后却淡淡的显示”T”，表示阳性。

I took another test later and it came back negative!

后来我又测了一次，结果显阴性。

I am so confused now and will consult doctor tomorrow to confirm it.

我现在很困惑，明天会咨询医生以确认是否。

Today is Valentine’s Day and tomorrow is the fifteenth of the first month of lunar calendar which is Yuanxiao Festival also known as the Oriental Valentine’s Day.

In this season of love, wishing all lovers to tie the knot, and all singles to find their true love soon.

Must repeat this very important phrase every year, hope North-South-Dong-Xi has years to keep everyone company.

《North-South-东-西》九岁了！

疫情笼罩下，出国旅行成了想都别想的奢侈活动。

能写的都是一些发生在新加坡的琐碎事。

这或多或少让更多人认识新加坡在疫情下的动态。（自我安慰）

今天是情人节，明天是农历正月十五，元宵节，也是东方情人节。

在这爱的季节里，祝愿所有的恋人喜结良缘；单身狗、单身猫早日找到真爱。

每年都要重复这句很重要的话，希望在未来的时间里《North-South-东-西》可以一直陪伴大家。

Today is the seventh day of the first month of the lunar calendar, which is also Human Day.

今天是农历正月初七，也是人日。

It is said that Nüwa created human on this day.

据说女娲在这一天创造了人类。

In Singapore-Malaysia region, people usually eat seven kinds of vegetables and lo hei yu sheng on Human Day.

在新马地区，人们通常会在人日当天吃七样菜和捞起鱼生。

The seven kinds of vegetables is cooking seven types of vegetables together, which means good luck and good fortune.

七样菜是把七种蔬菜一起烹煮，取个好彩头、寓意财运亨通。

Lo hei yu sheng means getting rich and prosperous.

捞起鱼生寓意捞得风生水起、财源广进。

The presentation of lo hei yu sheng also very particular.

呈现捞起鱼生也很讲究的。

Put the raw fish in the big plate (say auspicious word: Surplus every year)

将生鱼片放在大盘子里（说吉祥话：年年有余）

Put the lime pulp beside the raw fish (say auspicious word: Great auspiciousness)

将酸柑肉放在鱼片旁边（说吉祥话：大吉大利）

Sprinkle with pepper powder and five spice powder (say auspicious word: Abundant wealth, Five blessings)

撒上胡椒粉和五香粉（说吉祥话：招财进宝、五福临门）

Pour a bowl of sesame oil (say auspicious word: Money is rolling in)

倒入一碗香油（说吉祥话：财源滚滚）

Add shredded carrot (say auspicious word: Good luck)

加入胡萝卜丝（说吉祥话：鸿运当头）

Add cucumber shreds (say auspicious word: Eternal youth)

加入青瓜丝（说吉祥话：青春永驻）

Add shredded white radish (say auspicious word: Doing well, Rising progressively)

加入白萝卜丝（说吉祥话：风生水起、步步高升）

Sprinkle with dried fruit, crushed peanuts, and crushed shortbread (say auspicious word: The house is full of gold and silver, Gold is everywhere)

撒上干果、花生碎、脆饼碎（说吉祥话：金银满屋、遍地黄金）

Sprinkle with sesame seeds (say auspicious word: Business is booming)

撒上芝麻粒（说吉祥话：生意兴隆）

Finish with lim juice and plum sauce (say auspicious word: Sweet and happiness)

最后浇上酸柑汁和苏梅酱（说吉祥话：甜甜蜜蜜）

Since raw fish cannot be kept fresh for a long time, restaurants have also replaced raw fish with abalone in recent years.

由于生鱼片不能长时间保鲜，近年来餐馆也用鲍鱼片代替了生鱼片。

It is another time of the year to go River Hongbao.

又是一年一度游春到河畔的日子。

Like last year, tickets are required to enter.

和去年一样，需要索取门票才能入场。

Everyone must scan their TraceTogether before entry.

入场前大家必须扫描合力追踪。

After that a paper bracelet will be given for admission.

之后会拿到入场的纸质手环。

Why is the paper bracelet looked so familiar? Could it be the leftover from last year? Just be environmentally friendly!

怎么这手环那么眼熟？莫非是去年用剩的？就当环保吧！

Before entering the venue, there is also a notice screen to remind the participants to keep a safe distance of one meter apart.

入场前也有告示屏幕温馨的提醒与会者保持一米的安全距离。

Like the RIver Hongbao in previous year, the organisers shoulder the responsibility of inheriting the Chinese culture.

与往年的春到河畔一样，主办单位肩负着传承中华文化的责任。

The theme of this year’s exhibition is about Chinese New Year painting.

今年的展览的主题就关于年画。

Although there is no dazzling fireworks, but the vibrant light show also added colours to the party. 

虽然少了炫目的烟花，但璀璨的灯光秀也为晚会增色不少。

And the long-awaited live performance.

还有久违了的现场表演。

Of course the twelve zodiac signs are indispensable.

当然少不了十二生肖。

There is also the wishing well that everyone likes.

还有还有大家喜欢的许愿井。

After the show, there are still beautiful lanterns along the way.

散场后，沿途还有美美的灯饰陪伴。

Hope this mighty tiger can scare away all the Delta and Omicron strains of the COVID-19 and its variants!
