Our boy has finally got his name, Le Le.

我们家的小男丁终于有了名字，叻叻。

The giant panda cub is named Le Le because Singapore’s old name was Sit-lat-po.

给大熊猫幼崽取名叻叻是因为新加坡旧时的名称为石叻埠。

Under normal circumstances, giant panda cub will leave its parents to live alone when it reaches two years old, so by then Le Le will be sent back to China.

正常情况下，大熊猫宝宝长至两岁左右就会离开父母独自生活，所以两年后会把叻叻送回中国认祖归宗。

昔日的车水马龙，因为一场疫情而变得门可罗雀。

Although all industries are not depressed but are not far from it.

虽不至于百业萧条，但也相去不远。

The hustle and bustle of the past, now only deserted.

往日的熙熙攘攘人潮，如今只剩冷冷清清。

Wonder how long it will be to recover from the epidemic.

不知何年何月才能从疫情中复苏。

Loh Kean Yew stunned the badminton world by becoming the first Singaporean to win the World Championships.

骆建佑成为首位赢得世界锦标赛冠军的新加坡人，震惊了整个羽毛球界。

Since the competition’s inception in 1977, only four countries (China, Indonesia, Denmark and Japan) have won gold in the Men’s Singles, and now Singapore has one of its own.

自1977年赛事创办以来，只有四个国家（中国、印度尼西亚、丹麦和日本）在男单上夺得金牌，而现在新加坡也有了自己的一个。
