Pokémon Go, finally landed in Singapore!

Pokémon (ポケモン) was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995.

It is centred on fictional creatures called "Pokémon".

Humans, known as Pokémon Trainers, catch and train Pokémon to battle each other for sport.

The name Pokémon is the romanized contraction of the Japanese brand Pocket Monsters (ポケットモンスタ).

The term Pokémon, also collectively refers to the 722 known fictional species.

The word "Pokémon" is identical in both the singular and plural, as is each individual species name.

So it is grammatically correct to say "one Pokémon" and "many Pokémon", as well as "one Pikachu" and "many Pikachu".

Pokémon（ポケモン）是由田尻智于1995年创造的。

它围绕着所谓的“Pokémon”虚构的生物。

人类作为 Pokémon 训练员，捕捉并训练它们来彼此战斗。

Pokémon 这个名字是日本品牌《口袋妖怪》（ポケットモンスタ）的罗马拼音收缩。

Pokémon 也统称其722已知虚构物种。

Pokémon 一词在英文语法可以当成单数和复数相同使用。

由于 Pokémon 在华文地区并未像西方地区那样推出统一的译名，导致台湾、香港、中国大陆和新加坡等地使用的译名都各自不同。

台湾译作《神奇​​宝贝》、香港译作《宠物小精灵》、中国大陆译名情况更为复杂，俗称《口袋妖怪》或《口袋怪兽》；新加坡原先译作《袋魔》，但后来直接使用 Pokémon 一词。

我则把它译作 捕 个 萌！
