Today, our country's eighth president, Halimah Yacob, ends her six years term.

The president has an important responsibility of holding the "second key" to custodian the country's reserves.

总统负有保管储备金“第二把钥匙”的重任。

During the three years of the epidemic, President Halimah Yacob approved the use of a cumulative S$69 billion draw on the reserves, but the government ultimately used only about S$40 billion.

疫情三年里，哈莉玛总统总计批准动用690亿新元储备金，政府最终只用了近400亿新元。

Prime Minister Lee said: "With your support, the government was able to save lives, stabilise the economy, preserve jobs, and ensure that Singapore emerged more resilient and stronger after COVID-19."
