From today onwards, it is no longer mandatory to wear masks outdoors.

从即日起，户外戴口罩不再强制。

But there are still many people wearing masks.

但仍有很多人戴着口罩。

In fact, Singaporeans are not used to wearing masks, but why do so many people still wear them when they can stop wearing?

其实新加坡人不习惯戴口罩，但为什么现在能不戴了却还是有那么多人戴呢？

This probably has something to do with the personality of Singaporeans.

这大概跟新加坡人的性格有关。

As we all know, Singaporeans are ridiculed as a nation that is afraid of losing and dying.

众所周知，新加坡人被调侃为怕输及怕死的民族。

I admit that I am a typical Singaporean.

我承认是这个典型的新加坡人。

To put it in a nice way, I still wear masks outdoor is to protect others.

说得好听点，我在户外还戴口罩是为了保护别人。

And to put it in a blunt way, I am afraid of death. 

讲直白点就是我怕死啦。
