Recently The Michelin Guide had just announced 2017 Singapore Michelin Star list.


最近米其林指南刚刚宣布2017新加坡米其林星级名单。


Eleven new eateries received their very first one-star accolade.


十一间新餐馆获得了他们第一个一星级的荣誉。

Two restaurants were dropped from the one-star list - Chef Seita Nakahara's Terra and Sam Leong's Forest.


有两家去年上榜的餐厅,今年却落榜;那就是主厨 Seita Nakahara 的 Terra 和 Sam Leong 的 Forest

The stalls introduced here are with nostalgic taste. 

要介绍的摊位都是颇有古早味

This two stalls are located in Jalan Besar area.

这两个摊位刚好都位于惹兰勿沙区。


The first stall to introduce is Sungei Road Laksa.

第一家要介绍的是“结霜桥叻沙”。

Laksa is one of Singaporeans' favourite local hawker foods.

叻沙是新加坡人最喜欢的当地小贩美食之一。

Laksa is a spicy noodle soup in the Peranakan cuisine.

叻沙是娘惹美食里的辛辣面食。

Laksa consists of rice noodles or rice vermicelli with chicken, prawn, cockles and fish cake, served in spicy soup.

叻沙主要是面或米粉加鸡肉、虾、血蚶和鱼饼再淋上辛辣汤组成。

Laksa spicy soup base is rich and spicy curry coconut milk.

叻沙的辛辣汤汤底是由醇厚而辛辣的咖喱椰奶组成。

Sungei Road Laksa, is probably the only stall that still insists in cooking their laksa soup over charcoal fire.

“结霜桥叻沙”可能是唯一仍然坚持用炭火烹饪叻沙汤的摊位。

The laksa here is served with only a spoon, as the thick rice noodles were already cut into smaller strips for easy consumption.

这里的叻沙是用汤匙舀来吃,因为面条已经切成较小条,方便食用。

P/S: Must prepare for long queue. If you are a big eater, better order 2 bowls.

注:必须准备排长队。如果食量大,最好点两碗。


The second stall to introduce is Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry Rice.

第二家要介绍的是“美芝律剪刀剪咖喱饭”。

Curry rice is perhaps one of Singaporeans' local iconic foods.

咖喱饭或许是新加坡人当地的标志性食品之一。

The traditional Hainanese curry rice consists of braised pork, pork chop, braised cabbage and of course the rich Hainanese style curry.

传统的海南咖喱饭包括扣肉、猪肉扒、烩白菜以及那浓郁的海南式咖喱。

The Hainanese style curry is not the usual type with strong coconut creaminess and curry powder flavour.

海南式咖喱不像普通的咖喱般具有强烈的椰子奶油和咖喱粉的味道。

Hainanese style curry is usually light, sweeter and only a little bit spicy despite its very similar appearance to other strong curries.

尽管海南式咖喱与其他普通咖喱的外观非常相似,但海南式咖喱通常比较淡、更甜,而只有一点点辣。

Although the entire plate is being flooded by curry sauce and may not appear appetising, it is still undeniably delicious.

虽然整个盘都被咖喱酱淹没,看上去可能不是那么开胃;但它仍然是无可否认的美味。

P/S: The cashier (could be the lady boss) very impatient, drinks sold separately at different counter.

注:收银员(可能是女老板)非常没耐性,饮料在不同的柜台分开出售。

  1. Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry Rice now has a branch at Upper Thomson Road. Prices are the same as main shop. There are 2 additional dishes: curry sotong (curry squid) & asam fish (tamarind fish). Opening hour: 11am - 10.30pm (daily).
    “美芝律剪刀剪咖喱饭”现在在汤申路上段开了分店。菜肴价格和总店一样。多了两菜色:咖喱苏东(咖喱乌贼)及亚叁鱼(罗望子鱼)。营业时间:早上11点到晚上10点30分(每日)。
