Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport

China - Shenzhen (Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport)

Travelling from Shenzhen to other Chinese cities is very convenient.

Other than the traditional mean of transport by coach, traveller can choose either by Gaotie (fast train) or plane.

Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport offers connectivity to domestic Chinese cities.

The best way to the airport is via Shenzhen Metro (Luobao Line).

Alight at Hourui Station instead of Airport East Station.

Use Exit D and follow the signage to the overhead bridge.

Go down the bridge and there is a bus-stop.

Bus M416 goes straight to Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.

The bus fare is RMB2 and it takes around ten to fifteen minutes to reach the airport.

The futuristic design of the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport is a huge upgrade from its previous Shenzhen Huangtian Airport.

It is three times the size of the previous terminal.

It was opened on 28 November 2013.

The new terminal has 450,000 square metres of floor space, 62 boarding gates and the ability to accommodate any type of plane in the world.

The cleanliness of the toilet is acceptable.

Although it can be much better.

The urinal has a mini soccer goalpost for you to aim and shoot.
